  225. 2 Little gull (2cy) main bay this am. Got a call from Mike Barnett at swilly that a Honey Buzzard was coming this way. Fortunately was by New Flash and picked it up distantly to SW and would’ve said it was other side of Barnsdale road. For a while it changed to NE track and following it in scope it appeared as though it would come directly towards me. Unfortunately, it changed to a northerly tack ( which I would’ve said put it over Allerton By water and I lost it behind some roadside bushes) and couldn’t refind it. When checked my watch was about 0930hrs.
